Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using DormWingman ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

DormWingman is for active-duty military personnel, DoD civilians with dorm management responsibilities, and authorized dorm leaders, supervisors, first sergeants, commanders, and administrators at participating U.S. Air Force installations. All users must verify their military affiliation via their .mil email address. You must be at least 18 years old.

2. Account Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and report unauthorized access.
• Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
• Maintain only one active account; multiple accounts are prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use the App to submit and manage dorm swaps, inspections, supervision, and sponsorship, and to coordinate with leadership. You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading requests or manipulate the queue/priority system.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or administrators.
• Access accounts or data belonging to others, or circumvent security or verification.
• Share credentials, reverse engineer the App, or use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers.
• Capture or distribute other users' personal information.

4. Swap, Inspection & Sponsorship Rules

• All requests must be made in good faith with genuine intent to follow through.
• Swaps may require dual approval from the relevant dorm leaders and must be completed within configured deadlines.
• Failure to complete an approved action without valid justification may affect future priority and is subject to administrator review.
• Inspections and oversight features must be used in accordance with applicable AFIs and local policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and all associated content and functionality are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Use of the App does not guarantee approval of any request; housing and oversight decisions remain subject to leadership discretion and Air Force policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER, ADMINISTRATORS, OR AFFILIATED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings (triple confirmation required). We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive activity, failure to verify a .mil email, or conduct harmful to other users or the system.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App are resolved through appropriate military and DoD channels, subject to applicable military regulations and the UCMJ where applicable.

11. Modifications & Severability

We may modify these Terms at any time; material changes will be communicated through the App, and continued use constitutes acceptance. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
